No-Cost Value-Adds
National Insurance Services (NIS) offers several no-cost value-added benefits which can provide valuable services and support to employees and their families. Some value-adds are dependent upon the ancillary insurance products elected and some may only be available when working with our partner insurance carriers.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
When you choose NIS for your medical, dental, life, disability, and/or vision insurance, you are eligible to receive our FREE EAP and Claimant Assist. Your covered employees, disability claimants, and Life Insurance beneficiaries can receive no-cost, confidential help for a wide variety of needs and concerns including:
- Depression
- Alcohol or drug additions
- Financial or legal concerns
- Stress management
- Child and elder care
- Marital difficulties
- Family conflict
Our EAP also includes a virtual fitness platform that can improve employee health and wellness. It's an easily accessible, effective, and affordable way to reach their fitness goals anytime, anywhere for better health and well-being.
Claimant Assist – Special Assistance for Disability Claimants and Life Insurance Beneficiaries
At no charge to NIS customers, this program offers guidance and counseling services to long term disability claimants, their immediate family members, and/or life insurance beneficiaries. Participants receive access to masters-degreed counselors 24/7, up to three in-person sessions, legal assistance, financial consultation, childcare and eldercare referrals, and memorial planning assistance (for Life Insurance beneficiaries).
ID Theft Services – Attract and Retain Loyal Employees with a New Benefit at No Cost
When you choose NIS and our partner carrier for your Life and/or Disability Insurance, you are eligible to receive our FREE Identity Theft Assistance Services. If your covered employees and their family members should become victims of identity theft, they can receive this no-cost identity theft recovery service.
Student Loan Solutions
When you choose NIS and our partner carrier for any insurance product, you are eligible to receive assistance through the Student Loan Solutions program. Public school employees will have access to complimentary on-line tools and loan coaches to help find ways to manage student loan debt and apply for federal loan forgiveness.
