Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Account Representative Manager, this position provides quality and timely customer service to the clients of National Insurance Services.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients.
- Reports to Account Representative Manager but will also work closely with other internal departments and associated leadership.
- Identifying and creating client needs for products and service.
- Proactive servicing of accounts to eliminate liabilities that may potentially fall back on our clients, partner carriers, or National Insurance Services.
- Identify issues, problems, concerns and develop responsive actions and solutions.
- Employer and employee education of products, provisions, & administrative practices.
- Preparation and oral presentations in a group setting as required.
- Determine needs analysis of clients and develop lead generation and cross-selling sales opportunities.
- Maintain and update all systems databases and customer files per company guidelines (CRM, OnBase, etc.).
- Keep the Account Representative Manager fully informed of the status of all projects.
- Assist the Account Representative Manager and other departments on special projects as requested.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the group insurance industry.
- Two years experience in a customer service environment or any combination of education and/or experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Group insurance experience desired.
- Human Resource experience a plus.
- Life & Health Insurance state license desired. If not licensed, employee will be required to obtain license within 60 days of initial employment.
- Ability to travel 50-60% of the time and accommodation of overnight stays multiple times per month.
- Ability to attend conferences and associated networking events.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Possess the ability to read and understand insurance contract language.
- Analytical ability is required to be able to analyze and identify problems, offer proposed solutions, and implement the agreed upon solution.
- Must have excellent command of the English language (oral and written).
